Alireza b.This is totally unfair and violate the rules when i start golden visa 5 years before - i trust to portugal but looks this country dont respect to any trust and the rules which made by themselves. Hope 16th april respectfull parliment ignore this and protect our rights.
Paiyon M.I object to propose changes to Golden Visa ari and it will have a significant economic impact regards our investment
Ludmila C.Sou a favor do programa Golden Visa. Apoio a petição!!
Joao A.Nao acabar com o investimento internacional

Henry K.It is unacceptable
KARINA D.I have a 2 year Golden visa resident card which the SEF are not renewing . Investment was made on the assurance of getting a permanent residency. It's unconstitutional to change the terms and conditions for already approved golden visa applicants. Jointly we have to fight this illegality , whatever it takes to do so.
Guanguan Z.I think portugal should consider the promise in the past and consdier the all global investors contribution for the whole country. Portugal should be the country by law, not by the policitical parties.
Antonio G.Tema muito relevante, em especial, com quem mantém negócios com a China.

Sima M.Please respect Portugal's obligations to everyone who planned their lives around advertised rules of Golden Visa programme.

michael z.Years of time, effort, investment and commitment were made by honest individuals who have respect and hope for a future in Portugal. This abrupt termination without consideration for individual rights will create distrust in Portugal, which is contrary to the fundamental reason of migrating to the country. Huge investments were made in funds and many other vehicles outside of real estate ownership. Portugal must honor its legal commitments and allow time to transition away from the program. Don't soil the good reputation you have created by hurting people who have followed all the rules.
Keith R.I good faith, I purchased an apartment in Lisboa under the terms of the residency program at that time. I have planned my life around this purchase, with the ultimate goal of relocating to Portugal and contributing to the Portuguese economy. I actually take more pride in Portugal than my home country of the US knowing (or thinking) what will be my future home. If the law is retroactively rescinded, it would be unfair and immoral. It would have a dramatic economic impact on me personally, and my outlook towards the country of Portugal would be tarnished. I therefore respectively urge that a proposed new law NOT be retroactively applied. Furthermore, I have been waiting over 2.5 years to get my biometrics appointment, in clear violation of Portuguese law. I urge the government to rapidly deal with this frustrating backlog. Thank you for your consideration.
Tammy S.It should be a real concern that future investment in Portugal will be curtailed if laws can be changed retroactively. Portugal will be unable to compete for global investment due to a lack of confidence in the country. Such a shame.
Michael N.My wife and I put our lives and savings on the line to make a better life in Portugal, with the dream of bringing our established careers in wine and the arts to Portugal to create a venture that encourages tourism and education and fosters collaborative ventures in those areas. We worked hard to find an investment that complied with parameters of the “Golden” visa scheme while being sensitive to the housing and community needs of the beautiful country we chose to build our future in. We hope that this government will honor its promises and the sacrifices that we made, in good faith, in reliance thereon.
