I feel that the foreigner who invested in Portugal for GV was trapped by Portugal government. The requirements of GV are the selling points to attract foreign investors, but now the change of rules will devastate the confidence of most people to invest in Portugal.

As a heavily invested investor in Portugal (hotel and tourism, since 2014) and a big defender of its interests internationally, I do not want Portugal to go backwards on time and to be regarded as an unsafe or non serious place to invest. The current proposals including the reneguing on agreed arrangements with foreign investors will make Portugal look like a joke country that is not serious about investment, the law or its own perception.
