PLEASE we do need this post office for everybody old and young who lives In Praia da Luz and the surrounding area. Travelling to Lagos will be expensive and not good for the environment. PLEASE PLEASE

I live in Reserva da Luz , Praia da Luz which has no postal delivery and so we MUST use a postoffice box located at the Pria da Luz post office. I have lived in over 6 countries including third world countries and the postal services here are the worst to date. I already have difficulties in getting my post as I am partially handicapped and have a Blue card. The Praia da Luz post office is always busy and Lagos is a nightmare. If CTT close the Praia da Luz branch then I for one will be buying a single share in the CTT and going to the next Annual general meeting and demanding the Managing Director of CTT is sacked for incompetence and asset stripping whilst blatantly further destroying the poor service provided by CTT to its clients. The Government should also be advised it is shooting it self in the foot by ignoring this situation created by its mismanagement of this privatization. If they think investors considering purchasing in Portugal high end value property will be quite so keen to invest after being forced to have a post box built into their villas to meet regulations but NO postal service provide to it and over 7 Kilometres to travel to pick up their post think again

Concordo. Pela defesa do Serviço Postal Universal. Os Correios são um serviço público para a Comunidade, suportado numa irrepreensível Responsabilidade Social, articulando com a Sociedade o modelo adequado a cada Região no garante da sua sustentabilidade. Deve estar ao serviço do País e não de interesses imediatistas dos acionistas.

O encerramento da estação dos CTT-Luz é uma decisão absurda, inaceitável e sem sentido algum, pois só vai prejudicar a população desta Vila tanto os Nacionais como os turistas residents, que cada vez são mais, dada a sua indiscutível beleza. Tal decisão só vai complicar a vida de muitas pessoas de mobilidade condicionada.
