PLEASE we do need this post office for everybody old and young who lives In Praia da Luz and the surrounding area. Travelling to Lagos will be expensive and not good for the environment. PLEASE PLEASE

Peço o não encerramento do Posto dos CTT na Vila da Luz/ Praia da Luz. Tem um elevado nº de população, os transportes são deficitários, as pessoas não podem carregar com encomendas grandes. O fecho destas instalações vai sobrecarregar as de Lagos, vai haver filas intermináveis o tempo não chega para tudo :(. Agradeço que tenham em conta as pessoas. Obrigada.

This post office is the life blood of a Village, now town that with so many foreighn invesments needs keeping open. Poetugal benefits financially from all foreighn investment and with 85% from the UK our Swedish friends will soon double that number...We all need the service this CTT Coeios proveides !!

I live in Reserva da Luz , Praia da Luz which has no postal delivery and so we MUST use a postoffice box located at the Pria da Luz post office. I have lived in over 6 countries including third world countries and the postal services here are the worst to date. I already have difficulties in getting my post as I am partially handicapped and have a Blue card. The Praia da Luz post office is always busy and Lagos is a nightmare. If CTT close the Praia da Luz branch then I for one will be buying a single share in the CTT and going to the next Annual general meeting and demanding the Managing Director of CTT is sacked for incompetence and asset stripping whilst blatantly further destroying the poor service provided by CTT to its clients. The Government should also be advised it is shooting it self in the foot by ignoring this situation created by its mismanagement of this privatization. If they think investors considering purchasing in Portugal high end value property will be quite so keen to invest after being forced to have a post box built into their villas to meet regulations but NO postal service provide to it and over 7 Kilometres to travel to pick up their post think again

Sou proprietária de uma moradia na Praia da Luz por mais de 20 anos. Entre todos os usuários dos correios sou uma assídua cliente por todos estes anos. Peço POR meio desta petição pública, às autoridades portuguesas, que revejam esta nova decisão de proposta de fechamento destes serviços dos Correios. Todos os beneficiários seriam prejudicados de forma irreparável. Pensem nesta população (entre eles moradores, turistas, instituições locais, comércio, etc.) com mais respeito e consideração, tendo a consciência de estarem prejudicando à todos caso optem pela finalização destes serviços.
