As a recent visitor to Aljezur who fell in love with the place, I can truly say that the shutdown of the store wouldd be a great loss for the town. It is the real and traditional places such as the bridge store that draw visitors to the town and create good memories of it. I kmow that whenevr I think of Aljezur, the store is one of my fondest recollections

Se um privado for proprietário de um prédio cujas rendas foram congeladas por legislação do fdp do Estado é obrigado POR LEI ( feita pelo fdp do Estado) a fazer obras de conservação com as rendas que não tem. Porque que a lei não se aplica também ao fdp dos imóveis do estado?????? Porque se a solução é desalojar os inquilinos, então bora lá Portugal que vai tudo para o olho da rua, seus fdp.

temos que preservar as aldeias, o pequeno comercio e as autarquis tem a obrigadção de encontrar soluções para que não sejam postios em causa postos de trabalho bem como o bem estar dos espaços fora das grandes cidades.

I love this shop. I keep my money within the local community and share it with local people. Rather than giving it to French super-powers. Aljezur camera should take a trip to the UK. Where the towns are soul less because of Super-power take overs. This will have a long and lasting effect on this town and it´s local people. I can only assume Irntermache have given money to the camera so they can gain monopoly on this small rural town. Thankfully it looks like the people are not going to let this happen. Lets hope the people in the Cmaera who thought the short term greed of this would be OK, are now realising what an amazing thing they have here and keep it.

I vacationed in Aljezur in August 2012. I think this store should be kept alive. It is an important part of the local life and attractive to tourists. The big mega-supermarket is ugly and crowded.

This serves the public well, but yes, there does need to be a little more fence security on the pavement at that corner before the bridge

People come here to see a genuine and true Portuguese village. They do they spend money that supports many local businesses and families. If you knock down beautiful and historical buildings they will stop coming. Then what will you say: "Please Mister Tourist, spend your holiday in Aljezur. You can come here and look at the Intermarche!"

This This is my favourite food shop in Aljezur. Not everyone wants to shop in foriegn Supermarkets! This cynical attempt to destroy a successful local business smells of corruption.
