It is totally unfair to GV applicants with the current proposal. My parents would not have invested in Portugal and applied the GV in the first place if such had been known as they are unable to stay for 183 days in Portugal due to their job nature. The whole scheme would be a scam and a shame to the Portugal government.

I am an existing GV applicant from Hong Kong. I have been eagerly waiting for my biometrics appointment since my pre-approval 2 years ago. It is very alarming to me that suddenly the government proposes to change the requirement for renewal of the residence card that we need to stay for 183 days in Portugal, which is impossible for a global investor like me. It is totally unfair to us as when we apply the requirement is only 14 days in 2 years. I would not have invested in Portugal and purchased the property and applied the GV in the first place if such had been known. I will have no choice but to sell and sue the government for any losses incurred caused by this unacceptable change.

Definitivamente os planos tem de ser reavaliados e ajustados as novas necessidades, tempo de gerir e politizar com a devida calma e serenidade e não de criar leis a pressa ou gerir o país com base na informação das capas de jornais!

I am an existing GV candidate from Hong Kong. I still haven't even receive my biometric appointment. It is unfair that now the Government suddenly changes rules and requiring us to stay 183 days in Portugal, which was not the rule when I first apply. I would not have applied the GV if such had been known in the first place. I will have no choice but to sell my property and sue the government for any losses incurred caused by this sudden change by the Government.

It would be a fraud if the terms and conditions changed unilaterally without the consent from the investors who already paid hundred thousand dollars.

I do not agree on the retroactivity for Portuguese Golden Visa holder to be changed to entrepreneurial programme. It is unconstitutional. I also feel that the Feb 16 deadline is totally unfair and unconstitutional

Dear Sir l Madam, Respectfully I would like to request the Portugal Government to honor the committed golden visa application including both new and subsequent renewal without changing the the requirement from current 7 -1 4 days to 183 physical day requirement. It’s the strong reputation of Portugal for her legal system, safety of the environment and fairness of the country and leaders attracted us to invest heavily from the application, pls continue to practice this virtue and tell the world how beautiful Portugal is.
