Anita,
We want you to know that there are people on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean expressing solidarity with you and also with your cause, which is our cause too. We are people extremely proud of your courage and compassion and, therefore, we sincerely thank you for your example. People who, like you, believe the good must be done regardless the letter of the law. Nobody should be persecuted and convicted or sentenced for doing good. The fact that we allow ourselves, as human species, to do so just attests how reversed and wrong our values and our priorities are. Thus, we have the duty to not give up because too many lives rely on our resilience and determination; lives that, like our lives, seek to live in freedom and peace.
You are not alone, Anita. Stand firm.
