Petição pela conclusão do processo de regulamentação das TNC (Lei nº 71/2013)

Vimos por este meio manifestar o nosso apoio ao trabalho produzido pela Direção-Geral da Saúde (DGS) e pela Administração Central do Sistema de Saúde (ACSS), na regulamentação das Terapêuticas Não Convencionais (TNC) e solicitar que deem continuidade ao referido trabalho através da publicação das portarias em falta.

Após anos de luta, finalmente existe uma lei que veio regulamentar o acesso, a prática e o ensino das TNC. O caminho percorrido foi demasiado penoso para ser desperdiçado na procura da lei perfeita, perfeição essa que é impossível de atingir uma vez que existem diferentes interesses e sensibilidades.

O equilíbrio da Lei nº 71/2013 e das portarias entretanto publicadas dão-nos as garantias mínimas necessárias para vermos a lei sair do papel para o terreno, sem prejuízo de eventuais melhorias que venham a ser identificadas. Publiquem-se a portarias em falta e deixe-se a lei andar pelo seu próprio pé.

Petition for the conclusion of the regulatory process of Non Conventional Therapeutics (NCT) (Portuguese Laws 45/2003 and 71/2013)

To: the Directorate General of Health (DGH) and the Central Administration of the Health System (CAHS),

We hereby express our support to the work of the Directorate General of Health and the Central Administration of the Health System, in the regulation of Non Conventional Therapeutics (NCT) and request that continuity is guaranteed to that work through the publication of the missing administrative rules.

After several years of struggle, there finally is a law that regulates the access, the practice and the teaching of the NCT. The way to achieve this goal was too painful to be wasted in the search of the perfect law, perfection that is impossible to achieve as there are different interests and sensitivities.

The equilibrium of Law nº 71/2013 and its administrative rules, meanwhile published, give us the minimum necessary guarantees that the law will not exist only in theory but will be enforced, without prejudice of any improvements that may be identified. Let the missing administrative rules be published and let the law go at its own pace.

The Students of the NCT(access to degree in Universities with a guaranteed quality) will be thankful...
The School of NCT (bachelor degrees today, masters and doctoral tomorrow) will be thankful...
The Associations of NCT (next step: create its own Professional Council ) will be thankful...
Users of the NCT (the quality of professionals / clinics, protection from bad practices) will be thankful ...
And in time, the National Health Service will also be thankful.
