The beautiful pavilions of the Porto market are lovely and very evocative of the era they were built in. We often visit Porto and love these beautiful small buildings. Please preserve the historical architecture of these small treasures!

Strong communities is what we need right now. Buildings can help to create them. Every architect should know this. Standardisation or a weak impression of history is in my opinion not constructive (aha!). Not for the community and not to evolve as a city. Every Europeancity starts to look the same. Porto can make a difference.

Numa altura em que existe a SRU que se preocupa e bem com a forma como se reabilita o centro histórico do Porto impondo restrições de vária ordem,não se compreende que se faça uma intervenção num monumento ícone da cidade com "modernices",retirando a matriz do monumento que lhe foi dada pelo seu projectista. Imaginem uma intervenção na "Capela das Almas" retirando-lhe os azulejos ou tapando-os com "capoto" para evitar infiltrações.!!!!!
