Elahi	I applied for my residence card in August 2022. It’s been 5 months and as of today, they haven’t issued my residence card. Every time, I email them they say, “the issuance of student residence cards has been suspended since August 2022” and then they give us excuses such as law change, computer update, design change, material shortage, or waiting for an order from a higher office. Worst of all, they don't know when they might start issuing student cards. SEF didn’t even officially put out a statement acknowledging the delay, we had to email to find out: what kind of professionalism is this? It looks like international students are being singled out. This is because SEF is regularly delivering residence cards for other articles without any problems. SEF should apologize to international students for the delay and immediately, start issuing the delayed student residence cards.
