Conheço aquela área desde os anos ‘70 e cortar o acesso à praia afectará não só pessoas locais que visitam a praia mas também todos as pessoas que visitam essa área de grande beleza e natureza spectacular.

We have been using this now completely closed off footpath and public right of way for walks for 36 years since 1984 when we built our home here at Quinta do Lago

Je suis riverain. J'ai des enfants et petits-enfants enfants. Nous devrions pouvoir aller à la plage à pieds en toute sécurité. C'est une nécessité pour tous les riverains et pour les vacanciers. Pourquoi les obliger à s'y rendre en voiture ? La nature et l'environnement a tout à y perdre !!!

Dear to whom it may concern, The lagoon is a necessary and unique landscape not only needed to preserve the local wildlife but also upholding the indistinguishable scenery and beauty of the Portuguese environment. Thereby, seeking to prevent any further destruction through increased tourists littering and disturbing this natural habitat must be prevented at all costs. Not only the local community but also anyone who values nature should actively care about the retainment of this natural landscape. The removal of the pedestrian access is almost like a child throwing a tantrum, except someone is going to be held accountable in the event a pedestrian gets knocked over. I have encountered many cars speeding right next to me without caring. I have seem a woman pushing her baby in a pram and a car nearly knocking her over! So you created a huge and ugly car park - destroying the natural look of the ria formosa, then create a long footpath through the ria formosa! but the only people who can access it is if you have a car - where is the logic.

We purchased in Quinta das Salinas in 2014 and we spend almost half the year in our villa there. The proximity and ease of access to Ancao Beach was a critical factor in our decision to locate there. The "right of way" through the Ria Formosa has been established by custom and practice over very many years and the fencing that has been erected recently breaches that "right of way". We call on the appropriate authorities to declare the blocking of the "right of way" to be illegal and to take whatever steps necessary to re-open it
