These tolls can only turn a difficult time for the Algarve tourist industry into a complete disaster, absolutely the wrong time to even consider making the A22 a toll road, very sad they have no forsight.

we regard the Algarve as our second home and have owned a villa for over 20 years near Carvoeiro. Imposing this ridiculous toll system is a very bad idea. We may move, unless the tolls are abolished as using the 125 is not an acceptable alternative

The road was built by EU money,therefore it should be free to drive on

For us as residents the major problem is for our visitors who are appalled that they have to waste their precious holiday time queueing,often for an hour already to pay and even more so when they cannot find any way to pay on their return journey to the airport.If they wait until they reach home they incurr a fine for late payment.We have already seen people of all nationalities struggling with the chaos that is the system and holding up the day to day business of those of us who live here through no faault of their own.The summer holiday months do not bear thinking about and will certainly put people off coming back to the Algarve.Also spare a thought for the people who work in the post offices who suffer stress because of this.

I think we do not need this toll, or if so should be pay boxes.

Our business is suffering due to the fact that people from other parts of the Algarve will not use the toll road and are reluctant to use the N125. Suffering the rise in IVA to 23% is hard enough for the restaurant business without this added problem of travel. The Government should be looking to help the tourist industry after all it is Portugals biggest asset. Short sightedness is not what is needed at this time.

Desempregada, minha filha e neta vivendo em Moncarapacho não posso vê-las pois torna~se muito longe e por por vias mortais e nada seguras para uma mulher conduzir á noite...além disso não tenho dinheiro para a portagem...uma vergonha o que fizeram, se era para isso não a tivessem feiro.
