There's already a surplus of accommodation in Alvor. Pestana group have opened several new sites in the last years, also more hotels have been built/are being built on roads direction Portimao. - This particular location new a dangerous choice because the required rock movements would put houses and businesses in the area at risk of severe damage or collapse.
