Development is a key factor for the development of the Algarve. However not at this spot. It would jeopardise the unique setting as one of the last original fishing villages. There is enough availability outside the “historic” centre.

Over development will destroy the charm and magic of a wonderful traditional Portuguese village Portimao I has already suffered as a result of to many attempts to develop. Alvor has Praia Da Rocha and Lagos within easy travel distance Please keep the charm of Alvor.
