This build would ruin the ambience of the port area. There is plenty of land on the outskirts of town for large hotels and no need to detract from the traditional character of the town.

Alvor foi e é uma aldeia de pescadores, não uma cidade, já existem muitos hotéis e apartamentos, metade dos quais estão vazios. Pare de construir em locais bonitos, arruinando a nossa paisagem marítima. Mantenha Alvor no lugar pitoresco e bonito que sempre foi. O edifício tem que parar. Alvor was and is a fishing village, not a city, there is ample hotel accommodation already and apartments, half of which stand empty. Stop building on beautiful sites, ruining our seascape. Keep Alvor the beautiful picturesque place it has always been.

It is not fitting with the village to have a hotel in this location. It will ruin the village and there is not sufficient access for cars.

There is a lot of hotel accommodation around Alvor without building more in such an intrusive location. Alvor is already at capacity during the peak season - how overcrowded do you want to make it, and risk people looking for more enjoyable locations for their holidays and living accommodation?

No need for this. There is an abundance of accommodation already in and around Alvor. Developments like this should not take place in the village centre.
