This will have a negative impact on the area by causing instability of the land and also impact on the businesses and local residents. There is no need for another hotel there is always space available in the ones already there! Look after the ones you already have.

I love Alvor because it is not a built up tourist town. If this goes ahead will definitely think long and hard about selling up and going elsewhere

If you want to destroy the beauty of Portugal and the charm of its fishing villages go ahead but remember that people visit because they are fishing villages and would choose not to come if they became sprawling tourist towns. Keep Alvor Unique!

Totally unsuitable for that plot of land!!!!

Completely unsuitable!! It will spoil the old pedestrian part of the village, which is the part people come to visit. It will cause years of mess and noise which will ruin the surrounding businesses. It will cause damage to surrounding houses, due to heavy machinery being transported through too narrow roads, pile driving etc etc.

i am now 25 years in Alvor - this is the most bad idea to allow such a bulding - i hope the complaints here will find a way to cancel this project

The reason Alvor is so attractive is because development like this doesn't exist, please leave big c9mplexes out of the village.

I am a frequent holidaymaker to Alvor 2 or 3 times a year for 23 years. An Hotel of this kind in the centre will spoil its quaintness and damage infrastructure beyond repair. Please keep the hotels to the outskirts of Alvor and do not turn it into another Praia da Rocha or Albuferia.

This is not a good position for a hotel and will cause a lot of disruption to families who live there. Alvor has enough hotels
